Dr. Deutsch is a psychiatrist who completed all aspects of her medical training in New York City. In addition to medical school at Mount Sinai, an internship in internal medicine at NYU, a general psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai, and a child and adolescent psychiatric fellowship at Columbia, she also acquired a master of science degree at Mount Sinai, studying how best to deliver health care to the community. As a mental health professional, she studied best practices in telepsychiatry across the country, and how this technology can be used in large cities and their health centers to decrease the wait for care and improve access to high quality providers for those in need.
In her private practice, Dr. Deutsch specializes in the use of talk therapy to treat mental health problems in children, adolescents and young adults. While Dr. Deutsch does not participate with health insurance panels, she has set a reasonable fee which is below that of most private mental health practitioners in the geographic area. It is her goal to be accessible while providing high quality care.
